About Memory Palace

The “memory palace” — formally the method of loci — is one of the oldest, best-studied memory techniques there is: you place what you need to remember at specific spots in a place you already know well, then recall it by mentally walking through that place. Memory athletes use it to memorise decks of cards and thousand-digit numbers. Most explanations of it stop at the idea. This site is the tool: paste your notes, and it turns each hard fact into a picture or a phrase, pins it to an object in a real room, and lets you walk the rooms — on a screen, in 3D, or just as a page — to study and test yourself.
