Memory Palace is free. Every account, every palace, every room, and the study tools (spaced review, blind recall, walk sheets) — no paid tier, no trial, no card required.

The one real cost

Each memory’s picture is drawn by an AI image model the first time you open it — that costs real money on our end, which is why it only happens once per memory (opening it again shows the same picture, never redraws it) and why an account exists at all. Text-only memories (phrases, rhymes, acrostics) cost nothing to generate.

If that changes

This is a one-person project, and image generation is a real, ongoing cost — if usage ever outgrows what that can sustain for free, a paid plan would be introduced rather than the free tier quietly getting worse. Anything that changes shows up here first, not as a surprise.
