Memory Palace

Terms of Service

Last updated 19 September 2026.

Kept short and in plain language on purpose. By creating an account or using Memory Palace, you agree to these terms.

The service

Memory Palace lets you turn study material into a “memory palace” you can walk — rooms with AI-generated pictures and phrases pinned to objects in them, built from text or a PDF you provide. It’s provided “as is”, run by one person, with no uptime guarantee.

Your account

What you put into it

You keep ownership of the notes and material you upload. You’re responsible for having the right to use whatever text, PDF, or photos you submit — don’t upload anything you don’t have the rights to, or anything illegal, and don’t use the picture-generation feature to create illegal content. Some curated templates use recognisable fictional settings (a TV show’s apartment, a book series’ setting) purely as a memorable backdrop for your own study material — a personal, non-commercial use of that reference, not a claim of ownership over it.

Publishing a palace

Publishing a palace makes its rooms, pictures, and text visible to anyone with the link, and listed on the Discover page. Only publish something you’re fine with being public — see Privacy for exactly what “public” means here.

AI-generated pictures

Pictures are generated by a third-party AI model (see Privacy). They’re made to help you remember something, not vetted as accurate, appropriate for every audience, or free of the occasional AI oddity — use your judgement.

Changes and availability

Features, pricing, and these terms can change; anything material will update the date at the top of this page. The service can be modified or discontinued at any time.

Liability

Provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Memory Palace isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages from using — or being unable to use — the service.
